Building Codes Assistance Project

The State of Wisconsin has officially adopted the 2006 IBC, IMC, IECC, IFGC, & IEBC. The codes, with WI amendments, will be implemented on March 1, 2008.

The WI amendments to the Codes may be found on the Wisconsin Department of Commerce Safety and Buildings Division Website.

On March 1st, 2008, the website will be moved to the Wisconsin Legislature Website.

The University of Wisconsin-Extension will be holding Wisconsin Commercial Building Code Update Training on February 18, 19 & 20th, inclusive of not only review of the 2006 IECC with WI amendments, but of all various aspects of the WI Commercial Building Code.
